Geisinger is proud to offer an Inpatient RN up to $24,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates! The minimum hiring rate is $41.50, with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. This role involves assessing, planning, organizing, performing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet the needs of the patient. The Registered Nurse promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care, safety, and satisfaction, while exhibiting compassionate care during patient-nurse interactions. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care and staff interaction, meeting qualifications for providing care in the assigned nursing unit, and ensuring an optimal patient and family experience. The position requires completing assessments, addressing holistic patient needs, formulating and providing a plan of care, delivering direct patient care, evaluating interventions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshooting equipment, and participating in unit-based decision-making and quality/safety programs. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
