Job Summary and Responsibilities This is a Regional Float RN opportunity for Cath Lab/IR across Immanuel, Lakeside, CUMC-Bergan Mercy and Mercy (Council Bluffs) facilities, offering a 25% hourly differential. Cath Lab (and IR) Registered Nurse responsible for the full spectrum of patient care – from assessing and planning to implementing and evaluating. This means: Pre-Procedure: Thorough patient assessment, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring preparedness. Intra-Procedure: Monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes during interventions. Post-Procedure: Providing compassionate care, administering treatments, educating patients/families, and meticulous documentation of the entire nursing process. Requirements

  • Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 5 months of hire
  • 12-18 months experience preferred
  • Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas.
