About The Position

The Staff Nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role functions within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The Staff Nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care. This position is part of the Imaging Team at Piedmont Walton, which delivers high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, serving patients across the lifespan. The environment is dynamic and collaborative, requiring flexibility, including rotating holidays and on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• No experience required (New Graduates of a nursing program eligible)
• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
