About The Position

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. This role involves prioritizing patient needs, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with other members of the patient care team to deliver care aligned with the medical plan. All nursing practice, policies & procedures, & quality practice are overseen by the Vice President of Nursing Services.

Requirements

• One year of acute RN experience
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Current RCM Certification (Radiopaque Contrast Media), obtained within 30 days of employment (dept tracks)
• Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis
• Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position

Nice To Haves

• One year critical care, Emergency Department or Radiology experience
• Previous experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
