About The Position

Quality Program Manager RN - Oncology at Swedish First Hill is responsible for regulatory compliance and quality standards in accordance with Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) guidelines. The Supervisor leads compliance audits, corrective action processes, and other quality and compliance activities designated in the Quality Management Plan and Audit Calendar. This role involves ensuring compliance with FACT, CIBMTR, and other applicable agencies, managing the Quality Calendar, participating in quality management activities, and supporting the evaluation and continual improvement of quality and safety at Swedish.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • 3 years of direct patient care experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
  • Experience developing clinical care policies, procedures, and order sets.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare.
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with FACT, CIBMTR, and other applicable agencies by engaging with agencies around updates and coordinating education.
  • Partner with various teams to coordinate improvements in education, workflow, and other areas identified by project teams.
  • Manage the Quality Calendar and perform associated audits, sharing results with leadership and proposing corrective action plans.
  • Participate in the design, creation, validation, analysis, and communication of clinical quality data.
  • Support the evaluation and continual improvement of quality and safety at Swedish.
  • Create project summaries and reports, lead project committees/workgroups, and provide presentations.
  • Participate constructively in team meetings and assist with onboarding of new team members.
  • Maintain a minimum of 10 hours of cellular therapy education.
