The Quality, Infection Prevention and Compliance Specialist helps the organization ensure it's doing its best work for the best patient care. Overall, you will be responsible for knowing the AAAHC regulations and ensure that they are being followed within the surgery center. You will be responsible for the ongoing education for our staff. You will be responsible for presenting information to committees within the organization. You will be tracking infections and figuring out why they occurred. You will administer action plans for patient safety and ensure staff have the knowledge to ensure successful patient outcomes. You will answer phones and page other professionals in a kind and audible manner. You ensure patient impact of office activities comply with practice standards. Your goal is to ensure flow of the patient from point of entry in scheduling until intake for surgery, ever improving the patient and physician relationship. You will be the role model for outstanding service and processing. You will have conversations with strangers who may be in pain and need help. Our patients are hurting, so you understand that they may not always be super pleasant, however, they are very grateful. You will work in a place that expects outstanding experiences; we do this by working hard to assume the best and being curious with all around us. You will be naturally curious, friendly and helpful. You can work the hours for this position typically Monday-Friday between 6:00 AM -5 PM, because, ultimately, we are all here to help patients.
