About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with two years of experience in healthcare, data analytics, or related field.
  • Five years of experience in healthcare or public health.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Ability to create complex data exhibits using analytical tools.
  • Strong communication skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Current Oregon RN license and CPHQ certification within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in public health, healthcare management, or data analytics.
  • Ten years of experience in healthcare facilitating quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with Joint Commission standards and CMS/OSHA standards.
  • Experience facilitating groups through complex issues and teaching process improvement principles.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes quality improvement principles to design and implement True North initiatives.
  • Provides support in developing guidelines and methodologies for Quality Improvement reporting.
  • Ensures data integrity and quality control of Quality Improvement deliverables.
  • Collaborates with caregivers and leadership for data collection and analysis.
  • Participates in the development of quality and safety dashboards and scorecards.
  • Queries and aggregates data from various sources for analysis.
  • Solves complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
  • Creates reports and dashboards to share data and analyses with the organization.
  • Leads system data reporting programs and initiatives.
  • Prepares detailed specifications and documentation for reporting needs.
  • Analyzes data for trends and notifies appropriate individuals as needed.
  • Coordinates department level Safety and Quality Committee meetings.
  • Supports continuous survey readiness and auditing processes.
  • Completes quality and patient safety reports, identifying trends and recommendations.
  • Partners with the Lean Improvement Office on process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains a safe environment for caregivers and patients.
  • Conducts activities with professionalism and confidentiality.
