To oversee and manage the daily operations of assembling, analyzing and aggregating data resulting from various Performance Improvement projects, core measures (JCAHO and CMS), VHQC initiatives, IHI, Q-HIP, hospital service issues and other monitoring activities. To provide input into physician profiles for purposes of credentialing and reappointment. To assure all operational requirements, including internal and external, are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field.
  • Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding, and DRGs.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data display techniques.
  • Good organizational skills to maintain several databases and reports.
  • Knowledge and experience with Meditech clinical documentation system.
  • Ability to develop data presentations for medical and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of data assembly, analysis, and aggregation.
  • Manage data resulting from Performance Improvement projects and core measures.
  • Provide input into physician profiles for credentialing and reappointment.
  • Ensure all operational requirements are achieved.
