About The Position

This position includes working with our outstanding pulmonologist by providing patient education regarding bronchoscopy procedures, disease management, care coordination, phone triage, & EPIC clinical inbasket work that requires a higher level of critical thinking. RNs are also expected to assist with hands on education and support the needs of patients during clinic days while in office. You will work with our team of RN’s, MA’s, RT’s, APP’s, & Physicians to support our pulmonary patients which can also include the ability to expand your knowledge with supporting some of our specialty pulmonary groups as well. This position also allows working remotely one day per pay period. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You'll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics. You'll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
