About The Position

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is a 193-bed, acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs and is Magnet®-designated. It provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, featuring the only verified Level II trauma center in the region, nationally recognized heart, vascular, and pulmonary specialties, a wide array of surgical services (including minimally invasive robotic procedures, orthopedic, and neurosurgery), and comprehensive women’s health services. As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, the primary responsibility is to deliver top-notch patient care by utilizing the nursing process framework and integrating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. This role operates under the guidance of a Nurse Leader, making the individual a vital member of the patient care team.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent
• B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023
• Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role, such as an LPN or EMT role, etc., and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination. As required by job posting
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown 2 Yrs required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - CANADIAN HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Critical Care, Emergency Care, Pre-Op and PACU, Radiology 180 Days required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Endoscopy (exception: Dearborn, Farmington Hills, Taylor) Upon Hire required
