Your Role: Oversees clinical nursing education within the Clinical Division, including planning, development, organization, implementation, and direction of nursing practice (e.g., communications, program management, research, professional development, and team relations). Keeps current on nursing trends and best practices for clinical integration to improve patient outcomes. Establishes and initiates nursing practice improvement plans. Conducts educational needs assessments. Displays an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values). Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients. Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Six (6) years of relevant clinical educator experience.
  • Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in nursing
  • Experience developing, teaching, and coordinating educational programs for adult learners.
