The RN Program Coordinator for Childbirth Education supervises childbirth educators, organizes, and maintains classes and website. This role conducts childbirth education and other health-related classes, utilizing clinical nursing expertise and following principles of adult education. The coordinator actively participates in curriculum development and revision, collaborates with marketing to develop brochures, and engages in community outreach. Additionally, the coordinator visits physicians' offices to educate staff on childbirth education at Summa Health and is responsible for the FTE's and budget of the childbirth educators.
