Purpose: Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Maintains patient confidentiality. Performs triage of patients and prioritizes care needs. Utilizes nursing process effectively in assessing patient needs and planning appropriate follow-up/intervention. Document’s assessment and interventions thoroughly and concisely Develops patient education materials, triage protocols, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with physicians. Uses computer system efficiently and accurately. Provides patient/staff education. Oversees Paramedics and Certified Medical Assistants Performs specialty procedures as trained and as needed, including, but not limited to: IV therapy Medication administration EKGs Assists with procedures. Other Duties: Performs other duties and projects as assigned
