About The Position
90% FTE, 8 hour day shifts with a start times between 7:00am - 9:00am. No weekends, holidays or on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Gastro/Endo – Procedure to: Provide care, including patient triage, procedure preparation, intra-procedure care, and post-procedure recovery phases. Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care or critical pathway. Requirements
- 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
- Specific to EP Lab- Previous moderate sedation experience Required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred
- Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work Preferred
- Experience in an academic medical setting Preferred
- Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations - Previous moderate sedation experience Preferred
- Certification in area of specialty Preferred
