About The Position

UnityPoint Health is seeking multiple Registered Nurses (RNs) for various procedural areas including Surgery, Endoscopy, and Cath Lab. The positions are available at Methodist OR and Methodist West OR, offering both full-time and part-time shifts. The Methodist OR operates on a schedule of 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for days, 8:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. for nights, and a weekend package from 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, with on-call requirements. The Methodist West OR offers full-time positions with a schedule of 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for four days a week, also with rotating on-call duties. The Cath Lab positions are available for both full-time and part-time, with shifts from Monday to Friday, including various hour options and rotating on-call duties. Requirements

• Diploma from an RN program.
• At least 6 months of acute RN experience.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Ability to return to campus within 30 minutes if called back.

• Certification in relevant nursing specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room, Endoscopy, and Cath Lab settings.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe surgical procedures and patient care outcomes.
• Participate in extensive orientation and training programs, including AORN’s Periop 101.
• Care for patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures across diverse specialties.
