As an RN, you will have the opportunity to help set the standard supporting not only our residents, but our nursing team as well. We are seeking a talented LPN who values older adults, to join our team of compassionate care givers.

Requirements

Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
At least two years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
Work 2 shifts a month.
Work 2 Holidays – A year.
Keep all training requirements up to date.

Responsibilities

Providing clinical expertise in the management of our resident’s needs and coordinates the care of those residents.
Serves as the administrative authority for the smooth function of all units, including resident and family grievances.
Responds to emergency situations, including assessing residents who are experiencing acute changes.
Assists with the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures. Providing guidance and support to assure survey compliance daily.
Providing professional nursing care to our residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments.
Documenting pertinent information in the resident care notes/chart.
Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents in accordance with physician orders, Misericordia policy and governing regulations.
Provide companionship as well as nursing care to our residents, ensuring their understanding of the care being provided.
Provide leadership and guidance to our talented team of CNAs
Use your assessment skills, make decisions, and help the team to serve our residents.
