Hillcrest Hospital’s 3 West Tower Complex Medical Care unit is known for their outstanding communication skills and top-quality patient care. This unit cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing general, pancreatic/liver, and urology surgeries. As an RN in this unit, you will help ensure patients have the care they need quickly. All the while, your fellow caregivers will assist you, offering a cohesive, encouraging and constructive front to enhance the patient's experience and your skills as a nurse.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting.
• Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval.
• Will consider military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross.

• Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
