As an RN in the Interventional Radiology Unit, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills. This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working various shifts between 7:30 a.m. -- 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. with weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Two years of experience in Imaging

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
