About The Position

Capital Health is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering progressive, quality patient care through significant investments in its physicians, nurses, staff, and advanced technology. It is a dynamic health care resource accredited by the DNV, comprising two hospitals, an outpatient center, a satellite ED, and an extensive network of primary and specialty care. The Capital Health Medical Group includes over 600 physicians and providers. This position is part of Capital Health's Patient Care Services PRN Program for RNs, a market-based compensation program designed to attract qualified PRN nurses by recognizing national certification and rewarding staff for working difficult-to-staff shifts. PRN staff are required to work three holidays (one winter, one summer, and one difficult-to-staff) and will be included in the on-call rotation in affected areas. A "Per Schedule" is defined as a six-week pay period according to the scheduling system.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
• Registered Nurse - NJ license.
• For Level 1 – Service or Unit Based Pool: Minimum of 84 hours per 6-week schedule.
• For Level 1 – Service or Unit Based Pool: Minimum of 3 weekend shifts (36 hours) per 6-week schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work three holidays: one winter, one summer, and one difficult-to-staff (assigned based on scheduling needs).
• Be included in the on-call rotation in affected areas.
