About The Position

The RN & LPN position at Coble Creek Healthcare and Rehabilitation is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and services to the residents of Twin Lakes Community. This role requires maintaining RN or LPN licensure and may involve picking up additional shifts as needed. The position entails the initiation and implementation of nursing care, responding to emergency calls, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring residents' conditions. The RN or LPN must also ensure compliance with infection control procedures, oversee the care provided by LPNs and CNAs, and maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements

  • Must maintain RN or LPN licensing requirements.
  • 2 years experience in a Skilled Nursing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain RN or LPN license.
  • Pick up additional shifts as needed.
  • Initiate and implement comprehensive nursing care to residents.
  • Respond to or provide follow-up on emergency calls as required.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to written physician's orders, policies, procedures, and care plans.
  • Monitor, observe, and accurately record nursing care and services provided to residents.
  • Comply with infection control procedures and report measures to supervision.
  • Monitor accuracy and completeness of physician's orders and notify physicians of changes in residents' conditions.
  • Provide counseling to residents' families and refer specific problems to appropriate TLC employees.
  • Complete all necessary documentation on residents and ensure proper documentation is sent or retrieved when residents move between levels of care.
  • Oversee and be responsible for care and services provided by LPNs and CNAs.
  • Respond in a kind, polite, and professional manner to residents, families, visitors, coworkers, and supervision.
  • Protect confidential information concerning employees, residents, family, and the organization.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to all safety procedures and facility protocols.
  • Attend organizational or departmental conferences and/or in-services as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as required that do not significantly alter job requirements.
