About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Job Summary The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting. This position supports a residency-based ambulatory care clinic, where the Registered Nurse (RN) works in close collaboration with resident physicians and attending providers in internal medicine and pediatrics. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team. The RN plays a central role in patient care coordination, clinical communication, and ongoing support.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree or equivalent.
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
- CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N., or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required. Preferred effective September 2024.
