Job Summary Summary Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree Nursing required and bachelor's degree Nursing preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
- BLS required, ACLS Preferred
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
Nice To Haves
- Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
