About The Position

The Registered Nurse position at the Outpatient Surgery Center involves working 36 hours weekly in a full-time capacity during the day shift, with no weekends or holidays required. The role demands strong clinical knowledge and skills related to the perioperative experience. Candidates must possess good organizational skills, the ability to multitask amidst frequent interruptions, and a positive attitude complemented by effective communication skills. The nurse will be expected to work in both preoperative and postoperative areas, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky License.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
• Previous Preop or Postop experience preferred.
• Critical Care / Telemetry experience preferred.
• Proficient in starting IVs.
