About The Position

We are seeking a bright, energetic, and outgoing Registered Nurse to join our vibrant and dynamic Pre-Admission team. If you have a passion for patient care and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements

• Proactive RN with at least one year experience
• BLS certified
• Active RN licensure (NC or compact state)
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and compassionate interviews with patients both in person and via phone, to gather necessary pre-operative information. This includes reviewing medical history, current medications, and other relevant health concerns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed patient charts for surgery. This involves organizing the medical record, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and coordinating with the surgical team for seamless care.
• Work closely with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all patient information is communicated effectively and that any potential issues are addressed before surgery.
• Provide patients with clear instructions and education about the pre-operative and post-operative process, helping to alleviate any concerns and ensure they are well prepared for their procedures.
