About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking RN – Post Partum / Mother Baby for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience
- Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
- Education Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification of RN License through NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS (except Bellevue)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns
- Monitor maternal and neonatal health status and report changes promptly
- Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed
- Support breastfeeding education and maternal recovery
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with standards
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
