About The Position

The RN position at Physicians Plus Urgent Care in Findlay, OH, is designed to provide nursing care to patients and assist healthcare providers in addressing their health needs. Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensure in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift; weekend and holiday rotation is required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills essential.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
• Ability to assess data reflective of the patient status.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 1 year previous nursing experience.
• EKG, phlebotomy, aerosol treatment experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes and maintains communication, and utilizes teaching opportunities for patients and their families.
• Collaborates with Physicians/Providers regarding patient condition, orders, treatment plan, and anticipated needs.
• Demonstrates accountability and leadership in performance to ensure quality of patient care.
• Assists and performs other duties as assigned by management and/or the physician.
• Displays Service Excellence to promote patient satisfaction.
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures, and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
