About The Position

RN Transitional Fellowship - Physical Rehabilitation Care Dignity Health Marian Regional Medical Center Start Date: August 3, 2026 Our transitional fellowship programs have been created to assist in the professional development of nurses who have not worked in acute care, have had a break from acute care or are seeking to change specialties in nursing. Please read the specific requirements in the job posting as requirements may vary. Positions are limited and early application is encouraged. Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe therapeutic care for patients Assessment Planning Implementation Evaluation Utilizes the nursing process to identify and meet educational and discharge needs of the patients.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months of current medical/surgical nursing in an acute care setting or specialty area experience
  • Registered Nurse with current California License required.
  • Current AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • Additional Certifications to be required based on department requirements.
  • Must be able to complete entire program with perfect attendance record
  • Must be able to work 3 days per week after completing the first 12 weeks of residency
  • Must be able to work or train on either night or day shifts, including holidays
  • Must agree to the terms and conditions of the program.
