About The Position

The Perinatal RN at WhidbeyHealth Family Birthplace is responsible for providing core staffing in the department, ensuring that patient care is prioritized. This role may require floating to other areas of the hospital based on patient needs and census. The position involves weekend duty and holiday rotation, emphasizing the importance of flexibility in scheduling.

Requirements

• Two years of Labor and Delivery, Post-partum, and Newborn care experience in the past three years, or successful completion of a Perinatal Trainee program approved by the Manager.
• Current CPR and NRP certification required.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Certification in perinatal specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide core staffing in the Family Birthplace department.
