Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
- Active NY State RN License
- Current BLS & PALS and ACLS preferred
- 2+ years of recent high-acuity Pediatric ER experience
- EMR proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
- Superior clinical assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an Adult Emergency Department
- Level 1/2 Trauma Center experience
Responsibilities
- Triage and stabilize pediatric emergencies
- Manage high-acuity cases in fast-paced trauma settings
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary trauma teams
- Administer specialized pediatric interventions
- Document care using the EPIC EMR system
- Provide family-centered crisis support
- Maintain readiness for pediatric resuscitation events
