RN, Part Time, Pediatric Mental Health
About The Position
Kids Thrive Pediatric Mental Health is seeking a part-time Nurse to oversee medication administration and provide clinical training and guidance to staff. This role supports safe, compliant medication practices across our programs while serving as a clinical resource to the team. NewVista Behavioral Health is a forward-thinking development and operating company of behavioral health hospitals, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, behavioral health providers and transport operators, as well as outpatient telehealth solutions. Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio (RN preferred)
- Knowledge of medication administration standards and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication and training skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pediatric populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor medication administration processes to ensure compliance with state regulations and Kids Thrive policies
- Train and support staff on proper medication administration, documentation, and safety procedures
- Provide delegated nursing oversight as applicable
- Review medication-related documentation and assist with audits or quality checks
- Serve as a clinical consultant for medication-related questions and concerns
- Collaborate with leadership to support program needs and best practices
