About The Position
About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. This is in the Pain Management clinic and procedure center at Royal Oak. Scope of Work The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant experience acute care nursing experience
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association department specific Upon Hire required
- CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown department specialty Upon Hire preferred
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree B.S.N, or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years. This is effective April 18, 2023.
