About The Position
St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for its PACU department. This role involves the daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of patient care in collaboration with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The RN is responsible for ensuring the effective use of resources, maintaining established standards of care, and achieving patient outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. They must also ensure that any variations in care based on individual patient needs are justified and thoroughly documented. Additionally, the RN will assist with the management needs of the Nursing Unit.
Requirements
- Knowledge of current nursing procedures
- BLS required
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia or a valid compact state nurse license
