The University of Minnesota Medical Center is looking for Registered Nurses to join our growing Hospital Observation unit team. Our current observation unit is 19 beds. It was also named "High Performing" in Gastroenterology and GI Care. This position is a .6 (48 hours per 2 week pay period) on the overnight shift (7pm-730am) working 12 hour shifts and every third weekend rotation. The RN on the Observation team will help adult patients with outpatient care, much like an ED. We are an 18 bed unit that will deliver excellent patient care to patients from same day surgery as well as transfers from all units; lots of variety!
