About The Position

Corewell Health is offering up to $20,000 in incentives for this opportunity. The Taylor OR unit consists of 6 operating rooms, 1 cysto room, and 2 endo suites, specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, podiatry, hands, general surgery, and ophthalmology. The team includes RNs, surgical technologists, surgical first assistants, and surgical support staff, all dedicated to providing exceptional care and supporting surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures. Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed, Magnet®-designated hospital in metro Detroit, offering specialty services such as 24-hour emergency care, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, pain management, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, and full-service radiology. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide top-notch patient care by utilizing the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care, working under the direction of the Nurse Leader.

Requirements

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

Nice To Haves

• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
• 1 year of OR Circulating RN experience preferred
