The RN OR Training Program - Periop 101 is a 9-month preceptorship designed to introduce professional registered nurses to the practice of perioperative nursing. This program combines didactic instruction with clinical experience, equipping learners with the necessary skills to care for surgical patients throughout their surgical journey. The program utilizes AORN's Perioperative 101 Course as a framework, with specialty-specific clinical experiences supervised by preceptors selected by the Perioperative Educators.
