About The Position
Logan Health's Newman Center Pediatric Clinic is searching for a compassionate and patient-centered RN or LPN to support their team! About our clinic: Our Newman Center Pediatric Clinic offers outpatient psychiatric care and therapy services for adolescents and children. Our skilled staff provide client-centered psychiatric services comprising medication management and therapy; addressing a wide range of concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stress and life changes. Where we're located: The Newman Center clinic is located at 75 Claremont Street, Suite C, in Kalispell, MT. Requirements
- RN Qualifications: Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, and/or BLS certification required and/or as dictated by each practice/service line.
- Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office, simple routine clinical laboratory methods, universal blood and body fluid precautions.
- Must have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, established protocol for storing poisons, narcotics, acids, caustics, and flammable items; restriction imposed by various manage care carriers, various forms inherent to profession.
- LPN Qualifications: Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
- CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Possess knowledge of equipment, supplies and instruments used in a medical office preferred.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (i.e., physician practice or hospital) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals and obtaining patient medication history
- Triaging incoming patient calls and requests
- Coordinating and processing medication refill requests
- Aiding and supporting front office clinic staff
- Patient care coordination in partnership with the interdisciplinary care team
