About The Position

Corewell Health is offering a sign on incentive of up to $10,000 for full time opportunities or $7,500 for part time opportunities! Multiple full time (36 hours per week) positions: 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., every other weekend 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., every third weekend 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m, every other weekend 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. & 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., every weekend 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., every other weekend 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., every third weekend. Multiple part time (20-24 hours per week) positions: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., every third weekend 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., every other weekend 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., every other weekend 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., every third weekend.

Requirements

  • Associates in Nursing for Registered Nurse (RN)
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days for RN
  • Associates in Nursing or Graduate from LPN Program for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • MI Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days for LPN

Responsibilities

  • Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
  • Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health.
  • Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician.
  • Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines.
