About The Position

Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Minor Care Clinic team. This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and ensuring seamless coordination of services within our clinic. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with nursing staff and medical providers to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Provide direct patient care including rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining medical histories, reconciling medications, assisting with procedures, and administering medications and vaccinations.
Perform lab draws and accurately document samples.
Coordinate and follow up on tests, procedures, and specialty appointments as directed.
Communicate patient assessments and findings to providers.
Prepare exam rooms and necessary materials for patient visits.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of physician orders and interdepartmental communications.
