About The Position

Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated Medical/Surgical team. Position Details: Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), totaling 36 hours per week. Department: Medical/Surgical Unit

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa (required).
BLS certification (required).
ACLS certification (required for RNs or within 90 days of hire).
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (RN or LPN) preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across med/surg and skilled nursing settings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education.
Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress.
Administer medications and treatments safely via various routes.
Respond to both routine and emergency patient needs.
Participate in patient admissions, obtain informed consent, and complete timely documentation.
Support a culture of teamwork by cross-training and floating to other nursing departments as needed.
