About The Position

Join our not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment. This position is open to either a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and will rotate between 36 and 48 hours per week on the night shift from 6pm to 6:30am, with every other weekend and holiday required. The role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and offers extra flex premium and shift differentials. The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. The RN will also care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtain and maintain required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide resident education.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
