About The Position
The position involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the daily nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants. This is done in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, as well as established facility policies and procedures. The role requires active participation in the admission, discharge, and transfer processes of residents, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures by nursing personnel, and providing nursing leadership to the assigned unit. The nurse will also be responsible for observing changes in residents' status, administering medications, performing wound treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to meet residents' needs holistically.
