About The Position

The RN or LPN- Analyst position focuses on providing primary build and support for cardiology applications within the electronic health record (EHR) system. This role serves as a subject matter expert for EHR application integration, ensuring that the system meets the operational needs of the organization while facilitating communication between end users and Epic representatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, required.
• Two years nursing experience, required.
• Two years cardiology nursing experience, preferred.
• Attain assigned EPIC (WISCONSIN) Certification(s) within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-users.
• Identifying issues that arise in their application area and working to resolve them.
• Guiding workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing technical issues associated with Epic software.
• Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.
• Serving as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic staff.
• Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives.
• Working with Epic representatives and organization stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
• Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for workflows by attending site visits and integrated sessions.
• Participating in training and working with end users.
• Troubleshooting problems and questions.
• Reviewing the status of projects and issues with leadership.
• Participating in weekly communications with team members to discuss deliverables, issues, end-user concerns, budget, and milestones.
