About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is a Circulator in the Main OR at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. This position is a great opportunity for an RN to attend the Periop 101 training program supported by an OR Educator while shadowing an experienced RN in the operating room. The Main OR at Northwest Medical Center features 16 surgical suites in a dedicated surgical wing and perform highly specialized cutting edge procedures AND minimally invasive procedures. Several suites are specialized for specific types of surgeries. Join a team of surgical professionals who are performing new cutting edge procedures and taking great care of our patients!

Requirements

• Associates or Diploma in nursing program.
• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients before and after their procedures.
• Assist in the operating room as a Circulator.
• Attend the Periop 101 training program.
• Shadow experienced RNs in the operating room.
