About The Position

The RN - Operations - Quality Management reviews, analyzes, and gathers data and provides staff education to assist the Quality & Population Health Manager with assuring that high-quality, cost-effective healthcare is delivered by hospital employees and medical staff to all patients.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Three to five years of active clinical nursing experience.
• Must have experience with Quality programs and an understanding of evidence based care.
• Demonstrates excellence in Customer Service and professional conduct.
• Demonstrate a positive, respectful attitude and display professional appearance while promoting quality care through data analysis and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent problem solving skills and critical thinking skills.
• Must have initiative to take on new projects either independently or as a team.
• Organized, goal directed, team oriented, and patient focused.
• Ability to meet deadlines and be a quality performer is essential.
• Core values consistent with a team-centered approach to care and quality improvement.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, EMR, and practice management software preferred.
• Proficiency in communication technology systems (e.g. e-mail, cell phone, etc.) preferred.

Benefits

• Positions listed as 30 hours per week or greater are offered the level 1 benefit package.
• Positions listed as 20 – 29 hours per week are offered the level 2 benefit package.
• Positions listed as less than 19 hours per week are non-benefited.
