About The Position
The RN Operations Manager for Neuro Critical Care at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is responsible for overseeing a 12 bed ICU that specializes in the care of non-traumatic brain injuries and other diagnoses including Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke, Seizure Disorders, Brain Tumor/Cancer, and Neuromuscular Conditions. This unit also serves as the alternative unit for neurosurgery patients. The Operations Manager has rotating 24-hour accountability and responsibility for a direct care nursing unit, linking daily operations with the achievement of organizational goals. Responsibilities include creating safe, healthy environments that support the healthcare team and contribute to patient and employee engagement, as well as leading the implementation and execution of departmental goals and objectives.
