A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room at Cleveland Clinic Weston circulates a large variety of complex surgical cases in the 18-suite Operating Room Department, including but not limited to organ transplants, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases, following established standards, department guidelines and hospital policies and procedures. The RN will use their strong assessment and critical thinking skills to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide the best outcomes for each patient. A caregiver in this role works days + on-call shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Periop 101 or validated OJT for the Operating room setting
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS American Red Cross certification or within first year of hire
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
