About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Florence, SC. The OR RN will deliver exceptional perioperative care, assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures while providing high-quality support to patients throughout the surgical process.
Requirements
- Active RN license in South Carolina or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
- Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.
- Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating needs.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond quickly to any changes.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress according to facility protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal surgical outcomes.
