About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Adult OR RN for a high-acuity surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in general surgery, orthopedic, trauma, neuro, and robotic procedures , with the ability to scrub independently .

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience in relevant surgical specialties
• Scrub experience required

Nice To Haves

• Trauma center experience highly desired (2+ years preferred)
• Experience with EPIC EMR highly desired
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult patients
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
• Work a combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts to meet unit staffing requirements
