About The Position

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. This role supports a wide range of complex surgical cases and requires strong multi-specialty OR experience. Candidates must be comfortable with cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. On-call coverage may be required. Local candidates are not accepted for this assignment.

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Operating Room RN experience required
• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery required
• BLS certification required
• EMR charting experience required
• Must meet local candidate eligibility rules

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred
• Perioperative certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating and perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure surgical readiness
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical safety standards
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical tech teams
• Manage surgical equipment and supply needs
• Monitor patient status throughout perioperative phases
• Ensure accurate surgical documentation in the EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned
