About The Position

Bass Surgery Center in Walnut Creek is searching for a Full Time RN Operating Room Circulator to join our family. Bass Surgery Center is a fast-paced multi-specialty ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. RN Operating Room Circulators are an integral part of the surgical team, providing essential nursing care to patients during surgical cases. Their role requires a high level of accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced surgical environment. As an RN Operating Room Circulator, they are responsible for ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care during surgery. Their ability to maintain a professional approach while providing nursing care is critical in ensuring positive patient outcomes while keeping patients and their families informed. Will work directly with surgeons, medical/surgical staff and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing
  • Three (1) years experience in surgery
  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS required
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families
  • Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

  • Attends required department and hospital meetings
  • Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirements
